Nice to meet you!

I fell in love with UI/UX design back when I was still a freshman majoring in architecture. I have always been fascinated by the relationship between individuals and their environment, and studying architecture allowed me to explore this using my fine arts background.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit after my first semester at Carnegie Mellon University, I witnessed the world plunge into a state of panic and uncertainty. Human dependency on technology skyrocketed — not only as a source of vital information about a new disease, but also as a way to sustain entire industries and supply chains. Seemingly overnight, simultaneous virtualization of the entire workforce occurred, saving countless lives. This experience revolutionized my definition of what a person’s environment actually is: not just our physical surroundings, but every piece of technology we interact with. Consequently, my fascination was redefined to center around UI/UX, product, and interaction design.

As a designer, I care deeply about having holistic understanding when tackling a problem. It’s why I’m majoring in both Business Administration and Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon: I want to understand design from both the client and the customer side.

In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, painting digital art, biking, and exploring new places to eat. I’m currently in the middle of compiling a huge NYC foodies list — let me know your recommendation!
